A young-horse specialist with more than ten years in the saddle, Julien guides every horse from its first steps to the competition ring.
Julien has spent more than ten years riding and developing young horses, including time with two of Normandy’s most respected breeding operations, Haras d’Elle and Haras de Semilly.
His speciality is bringing young horses on. He prepares two- and three-year-olds physically for breeding competitions, stallion selections and sales, then guides them into competition, where he has ridden on the 7-year-old circuit and in classes up to Pro 1.
As Lead Rider and Co-Manager of Écurie de Beauclerc, he is guided by discipline, constant self-reflection and a strong work ethic.
Julien holds the DEJEPS, the French state diploma that qualifies him to train riders for competition.
